Why Open Rescue Is Necessary
Petitions have been signed. MPs have been written to. Companies have been pressured. And yet MBR Acres continues to breed 2,000 puppies a year for laboratories. The legal system has been tested twice, and both times juries acquitted the rescuers. The democratic process has been exhausted. Direct action, conducted openly and transparently, is the next step.
Open rescue means entering openly, documenting everything, disclosing identities, and removing animals from conditions that the Animal Welfare Act 2006 was designed to prevent. It is not theft. Two juries confirmed that.
