Save the MBR Beagles is an independent animal welfare campaign focused on the welfare of beagles bred at MBR Acres, Wyton, Cambridgeshire. We are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to any other organisation or campaign group. Any resemblance to or overlap with other campaigns is coincidental, and we operate entirely independently.

5. Write to Your MP Tool

Our Write to Your MP tool allows you to send a letter to your elected Member of Parliament regarding animal welfare issues. When using this tool:

  • You are the sender. Letters are sent from your email address, via our email service provider (Mailgun), to your MP. You are solely responsible for the content of any letter you send.
  • We may provide template text as a starting point, but you are free to edit it and you accept full responsibility for the final content.
  • Your postcode is used to look up your MP via the TheyWorkForYou API. We do not store your postcode for any other purpose related to this tool beyond facilitating the lookup.
  • You must not use this tool to send threatening, abusive, or unlawful communications. Misuse may result in immediate account termination and may be reported to the relevant authorities.
  • We do not guarantee that your MP will receive, read, or respond to your letter. We provide the tool as a convenience and are not responsible for delivery failures beyond our reasonable control.

6. Rescue Operation Signup

Our website allows users to express interest in participating in rescue operations and to select a risk tier that reflects their willingness to be involved. By signing up:

  • Participation is entirely voluntary and at your own risk. You acknowledge that participation in any activity may carry personal, legal, or physical risks.
  • We do not provide legal advice. Nothing on this website, including our legal information page, constitutes legal advice. If you need legal advice regarding any activity, you should consult a qualified solicitor.
  • We do not direct, control, or instruct individuals to undertake any specific actions. Signing up indicates interest only. Operational details, if any, are communicated separately and participation remains voluntary at all times.

  • Submitting an application does not guarantee approval. We review all applications and reserve the right to approve or decline any application at our sole discretion.
  • If approved, additional terms specific to the foster or adoption arrangement may apply and will be communicated to you separately.
  • You agree to comply with all applicable animal welfare laws, including the Animal Welfare Act 2006, in your care of any animal placed with you.

8. Newsletter and Communications

By subscribing to our newsletter or providing your contact details, you consent to receive email and/or SMS communications from us regarding the campaign, updates, and calls to action. You may unsubscribe from these communications at any time by:

  • Using the unsubscribe link included in every email
  • Replying STOP to any SMS message
  • Contacting us at the email address provided at the bottom of these Terms

Our use of email and SMS communications complies with the Privacy and Electronic Communications Regulations (PECR) 2003. We will only send marketing communications where we have your consent to do so.
